Sandvikens IF thrashed GIF Sundsvall 5-0 in the Superettan, racing into a three-goal lead before half-time. The hosts were clinical in front of goal and never looked back.
Linus Tagesson scored the opener after six minutes from Johan Arvidsson's assist. Alan Carleton doubled the lead in the 20th minute, again set up by Arvidsson, and Christian Wagner made it 3-0 in the 43rd minute from Carleton's pass. Victor Backman added the fourth named goal in the 83rd minute, assisted by Mohammed Yousef.
Tagesson had the most direct hand in the win, scoring the first goal and picking up a yellow card on 49 minutes. Wagner also scored and was booked, while Arvidsson created the first two goals with assists.
