Geneve-Servette HC turned a two-goal deficit into a 4-2 win over the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in regulation, scoring all four of its goals in the third period. The Lakers led 0-2 after 40 minutes and did not register a goal after the second.
The opening period was scoreless. Rapperswil-Jona struck twice inside two minutes in the middle frame, Nico Dunner at 30 (Fabrice Herzog) and Tanner Fritz at 31 (Valentin Hofer). Jesse Puljujarvi cut it to 1-2 at 44, Josh Jooris tied it at 49 off a Vincent Praplan feed, and Sakari Manninen made it 3-2 at 60.
Jimmy Vesey was the connective piece, assisting on both the Puljujarvi goal and Manninen's go-ahead marker. The period splits tell it plainly: 0-2 to the visitors in the second, 4-0 to Geneve-Servette in the third.
