V-Varen Nagasaki let a two-goal lead slip as Gamba Osaka scored twice in the 90th minute to force a 2-2 draw in the J.League. Kenshin Yasuda and Matheus Jesus had put the home side in command before Gamba's late fightback.
Yasuda opened the scoring in the 79th minute, and Jesus doubled the lead six minutes later from Hotaru Yamaguchi's assist. Gamba pulled one back through Deniz Hümmet at the 90-minute mark, and Issam Jebali then equalised to change the result at the last moment.
Nagasaki dominated the shot count 20-16 and created five big chances to Gamba's two, while Gamba goalkeeper made eight saves to Nagasaki's four. Despite having only 44% possession and fewer clear openings, Gamba's late strikes were enough to share the points.
