Fulham eased into the third round with a 3-0 win over AFC Wimbledon. They controlled the tie from early on, finishing with 80% possession and 27 shots to Wimbledon's five.
Emile Smith Rowe opened the scoring in the 37th minute from Ryan Sessegnon's assist. Rodrigo Muniz doubled the lead five minutes later, and Gonzalo García added a third in the 90th minute after Macauley Zepa set him up. Two goals before half-time put the tie beyond Wimbledon.
The gulf in chances was clear — Fulham created five big chances and took two of them, while Wimbledon had none. Even so, the expected goals read 0.00 for both sides, a quirk of the stats despite Fulham's 6 shots on target and 10 corners.
