Frosinone progressed to the next round with a convincing 4-1 win over Juve Stabia at home. They took control early, racing into a 3-0 lead before half-time thanks to a dominant first-half display. Giorgi Kvernadze was the architect, scoring twice and setting up another as Frosinone never looked back.
Kvernadze opened the scoring in the 20th minute from Farès Ghedjemis' assist, and Matteo Cichella doubled the lead nine minutes later after Kvernadze turned provider. Antonio Raimondo made it 3-0 in the 38th minute, and although Leonardo Candellone pulled one back for Juve Stabia in the 48th minute, Kvernadze restored Frosinone's three-goal cushion in the 71st minute with Raimondo assisting. Juve Stabia's task was made harder when Saná Fernandes was sent off in the 89th minute.
Frosinone shaded possession with 54% and were far more clinical in front of goal, creating six big chances to Juve Stabia's none. They had 22 shots to the visitors' 17, though Juve Stabia managed more efforts on target (7-6) and forced six saves from the Frosinone goalkeeper. Kvernadze's two goals and an assist made him the clear standout performer.
