Bili Tygri Liberec beat Frolunda HC 3-2 in overtime, the only goal of the extra period arriving at 62 minutes. Liberec trailed after 20 minutes and were tied again inside the final five of regulation before settling it.
Filip Hasa opened it at 14 for Frolunda, assisted by Filip Cederqvist, and the visitors led 0-1 after the first. Radan Lenc leveled at 24 for 1-1 at the second intermission, Tomas Galvas put Liberec ahead at 46 off a Servac Petrovsky feed, and Frolunda's answer at 55 forced 2-2 after 60.
Liberec scored all three of their goals from the second period onward, and the Galvas-Petrovsky connection at 46 was the only assisted goal of the night for the home side. Frolunda's lone assisted strike came from Cederqvist in the first.
