SKU Amstetten beat Flyeralarm Admira 2-1 in 2. Liga, with goals in the 37th and 67th minutes putting them in command. Admira’s late reply made for a tense finish, but Amstetten held on for the win.
David Peham opened the scoring in the 37th minute from Armin Haider’s assist. Haider doubled the lead in the 67th minute with Thomas Mayer providing the assist, and that second goal proved decisive when Sergej Savic pulled one back for Admira in the 85th minute after Turgay Gemicibaşi set him up. The visitors could not find an equaliser.
Armin Haider had the biggest individual impact, scoring the second goal and setting up the first, although he was booked in the 44th minute. Amstetten’s two-goal cushion was enough, with Admira unable to force a draw after Savic’s goal.
