Grimsby Town and Fleetwood Town shared four goals in a lively League Two draw at Blundell Park. The visitors struck early through Will Davies, but Grimsby hit back to lead through Cian Doyle and Andy Cook before Finley Potter's equaliser. Neither side could find a winner.
Fleetwood took a sixth-minute lead when Will Davies finished from Ched Evans's assist. Grimsby levelled through Cian Doyle on 37 minutes, Kieran Green providing the assist, and Andy Cook turned the game around on 64 minutes from Géza Dávid Turi's pass. Within five minutes Finley Potter restored parity, Ronan Coughlan setting up the final goal.
The home side dominated possession, with 58% of the ball and 15 total shots against Fleetwood's 11, and they also led in accurate passes 283 to 190. But Fleetwood's four shots on target were enough to keep the scoreboard moving, and both teams took two big chances each. A draw was a fair reflection of a game that swung back and forth.
