Torino came from behind to beat Fiorentina 2-1 in Serie A, recovering from Mateo Pellegrino's early second-half opener for the hosts to score twice in the final 16 minutes. It was a result built on two late finishes after a quiet first half.
Pellegrino put Fiorentina ahead on 47 minutes from Radu Drăguşin's assist. Torino levelled on 74 when Rolando Mandragora turned in Eray Cömert's pass, and Che Adams completed the comeback eight minutes later with help from Rafik Belghali.
The numbers favoured Fiorentina – 14 shots to seven, an expected-goals edge of 1.57 to 0.63 and two big chances missed – but Torino were clinical, scored from their one big chance and got four saves from their goalkeeper to hold on.
