NSÍ Runavík and FC Lugano shared the points in a 2-2 draw in the UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round. The home side took a commanding two-goal lead through Petur Knudsen and Marius Lindh, but Lugano hit back to level in the second half.
Knudsen opened the scoring in the 29th minute from Sammy Skytte's assist, and Lindh doubled the lead just after the hour, with Knudsen providing the pass. Yanis Cimignani pulled one back in the 66th minute from Mattia Zanotti's delivery, and Kevin Behrens equalised in the 79th minute with Renato Steffen the creator.
Lugano dominated the match statistically, holding 60% possession, firing 18 shots to Runavík's six, and completing 544 passes to 314. NSÍ Runavík's goalkeeper made eight saves, while Lugano's made two, and the home side converted both of their big chances, whereas Lugano missed two of their four. The only booking was a late yellow card for NSÍ Runavík's Emil Weihe Joensen.
