FC København won 4-0 away to Randers FC in the Superliga, with the match effectively settled inside the opening quarter of an hour. Birger Meling scored twice in the first 14 minutes and the visitors never looked back.
Meling opened the scoring in the second minute and doubled the lead on 14, Alex Král providing the assist for the second. Mads Emil Madsen made it 3-0 on the stroke of half-time, and Marcos López completed the scoring in the 77th minute, again assisted by Král.
Meling was the standout player, but the team performance was built on sharp finishing: Randers had 56% possession and 453 accurate passes yet failed to put a single shot on target. FC København, in contrast, registered six shots on target from 19 attempts and an expected-goals total of 1.21 to Randers' 0.52.
