FC København beat Debreceni VSC 5-1 in the UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round. Mohamed Elyounoussi and Andreas Cornelius both scored twice as the home side recovered from conceding an equaliser to pull away late on.
Elyounoussi put København ahead in the third minute, but Balázs Dzsudzsák levelled in the 47th. Elyounoussi restored the lead in the 58th, and after three yellow cards were shown between the 57th and 67th minutes, Alex Král made it 3-1 in the 76th. Andreas Cornelius then added two more in the 78th and 90th minutes to complete the scoring.
The statistics underlined København's control: they registered 22 shots to Debreceni's 9, 11 on target to 2, and 57% possession. Debreceni's goalkeeper made six saves, while København's keeper had only one to make. Elyounoussi and Cornelius each scored twice, and the late flurry made the scoreline emphatic.
