St. Louis City and FC Dallas shared six goals in an entertaining MLS draw. St. Louis led 3-1 through Carlo Holse's 64th-minute strike, but Dallas hit back with two late goals to take a point.
Simon Becher opened the scoring after three minutes, and Shaq Moore levelled for Dallas on 18. Daniel Edelman restored St. Louis's lead just before half-time, and Holse made it 3-1 before Sebastien Ibeagha pulled one back on 81 and Logan Farrington equalised in the 90th minute.
St. Louis had the better of the underlying numbers, with 1.75 expected goals to Dallas's 0.80 and 53 per cent possession. Dallas, though, finished with more total shots (12 to 10) and shots on target (7 to 5), and their persistence was rewarded by Farrington's stoppage-time equaliser.
