Connecticut United came from two goals down to beat FC Cincinnati 2 3-2 in MLS Next Pro. Stefan Chirilla's brace had the home side in control, but the visitors scored three unanswered goals to take the points.
Chirilla opened the scoring on 18 minutes and doubled the lead on 25, with assists from Ademar Chavez and Yair Ramos. Dylan Lacy pulled one back just before half-time on 45, Alex Monis levelled on 68, and Bryan Destin struck the winner on 75.
Connecticut carried the greater threat despite seeing less of the ball, registering 13 shots to Cincinnati's 10 and six on target to two. Their expected-goals total of 1.79 dwarfed the home side's 0.91, and the Cincinnati goalkeeper was forced into three saves.
