J. Schwarzler beat M. Erhard 3-6, 7-6, 6-4 at the ATP Challenger in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. He came from a set down and took the decider with the only break of the set, in the ninth game.
Erhard made the early running, breaking in game four of the opener for 3-1 and going on to take it 6-3. The second set had no breaks, and Schwarzler took the tie-break to level. In the decider, Schwarzler converted the only break chance of the set at 4-5 in game nine and held to close out the match.
The stats show how close it was: Erhard won more total points, 95 to 89, and saved five of six break points. Schwarzler, though, took the one break point that mattered in the final set and made it stand.
