FC Augsburg came from behind to beat Eintracht Frankfurt 4-1 in the Bundesliga. Jonathan Burkardt's early goal put the home side in front, but Augsburg turned the match with two goals in a minute at the start of the second half.
Burkardt struck after six minutes, and the score stayed 1-0 until Elias Baum levelled for Augsburg in the 46th minute. Robin Fellhauer put the visitors ahead just a minute later, Alexis Claude-Maurice extended their lead in the 65th, and Fabian Rieder added a fourth near the end.
Frankfurt dominated the underlying numbers, with 60% possession, 22 shots to 16 and an expected-goals total of 1.87 against Augsburg's 1.18. Augsburg's goalkeeper made seven saves, and Frankfurt missed three of their four big chances. It was a day when Augsburg did not need to dominate the ball to take all three points.
