Iván Chapela sealed the win in the 74th minute, finishing from Anes Krdzalic's assist.
Eibar had 66% possession and 16 shots to Tenerife's seven, yet could only score once. Tenerife's goalkeeper made four saves to keep Eibar at bay, while the visitors turned four shots on target into three goals. Jesús Álvarez, the scorer of the second goal, was booked late on.
