The opener was decided by Erhard’s two converted break points, enough to take the set 6-3. Džumhur kept it far tighter in the second set, with neither player converting a break point, but Erhard won the tie-break to close out the match.
Erhard converted two of his five break-point chances and saved the only break point he faced, while Džumhur ended without a return-game breakthrough. That edge on serve, plus the nine aces, was the difference on the day.
