Dynamo Kyiv claimed a 2-1 Premier League victory over Kolos Kovalivka at home, with Volodymyr Brazhko scoring the decisive goal after an early exchange of strikes. The result leaves Dynamo with all three points, though they needed to dig in after a late red card.
Matvii Ponomarenko put Dynamo ahead in the 19th minute, turning in Vladyslav Dubinchak's assist. Kolos responded within two minutes, Oleksandr Demchenko levelling from Yurii Klymchuk's pass. Brazhko restored the lead with an unassisted goal in the 73rd minute, only to be sent off in the 86th minute after a second booking.
Brazhko was the key figure, scoring the winner and then seeing red as Dynamo had to protect their advantage with ten men. Roman Honcharenko and Andriy Yarmolenko were also booked late on, but the home side held on to secure the win.
