FK Žalgiris thrashed Dinamo Tbilisi 7-2 in the second qualifying round of the Europa Conference League, running riot after a nervy first half. Stanislav Bilenkyi opened the scoring but the visitors equalised through Leonardo Santos, only for the home side to pull away with five unanswered goals in a breathtaking second half.
Bilenkyi put Žalgiris ahead on 25 minutes before Santos levelled just before the break. The hosts took control after the hour: Nikola Petković restored the lead on 59, Bryan Silva Teixeira made it 3-1 two minutes later, and though Mate Vatsadze pulled one back for Tbilisi in the 72nd minute, Petković struck again immediately to make it 4-2. Bilenkyi added his second on 82, Nemanja Mihajlović made it six on 88, and a seventh followed in stoppage time.
Nikola Petković and Stanislav Bilenkyi each scored twice, leading a relentless Žalgiris attack after the interval. The home side's heavy second‑half pressure overwhelmed Dinamo Tbilisi, who ended the match with seven yellow cards and no answer to the pace and movement of the Lithuanian side.
