Deportivo Pereira beat Deportivo Pasto 2-1 in the Primera A Apertura, despite being outplayed for much of the match. They took an early lead, saw Pasto equalise, and then went back in front before half-time. The game's pivotal moment came when Geovanni Banguera was sent off in the 27th minute.
