Sebastian Jaume put Deportivo Maldonado ahead in the 24th minute. The game remained tight until Álvaro López levelled for Albion FC with nine minutes left. There were several bookings, including a yellow card in the 90th minute.
The draw leaves both sides with a point apiece. The game saw five yellow cards, but no red cards altered the flow – the second goal came from an unassisted finish by López.
