Ever Valencia made it 2-0 in the 51st, with Parra supplying the pass, and Fabricio Damián Sanguinetti Fernández pulled one back for Internacional in the 61st after Cristián Dájome found him, but that proved the last goal.
Tolima dominated the ball, with 70% possession and 131 accurate passes to Internacional's 39, yet registered just three total shots to the visitors' two. Parra's goal and assist, plus the one big chance Tolima created, proved the difference on a day when chances were scarce.
