O'Higgins came from behind to beat Deportes La Serena 2-1 in Primera Division. Jeisson Vargas put the home side ahead on 22 minutes, Arnaldo Castillo equalised on 66, and a 90th-minute winner settled it.
La Serena led from Vargas' early strike until Castillo dragged O'Higgins level midway through the second half. With the game heading for a draw, the visitors struck at the end of normal time. Martín Maturana, Sebastián Díaz and Lucas Alarcón were booked during a tight contest.
O'Higgins had more of the ball, recording 59% possession and 376 accurate passes to La Serena's 221. Yet the home side managed 15 shots to O'Higgins' 14, with both teams putting three on target. The visiting goalkeeper made four saves, and the late goal proved decisive.
