Lewes fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Cray Wanderers in FA Cup Qualification Round 1. Charlie Walker’s 90th-minute goal completed the rescue and left the tie all square.
Cray Wanderers took control when Ade Yusuff scored in the 16th minute and then doubled their lead on 80 minutes. Lewes responded in the closing stages, with Charlie Walker striking in the 90th minute to level the score at 2-2.
Cray Wanderers had led from early on and appeared to be in charge after their second goal. Yet Lewes kept pushing, and Walker’s late finish proved to be the defining moment of the match.
