Coquimbo Unido rescued a 1-1 draw against Deportes La Serena in the Primera Division, with Pablo Rodríguez scoring deep into the 90th minute to cancel out Felipe Chamorro's opener. The home side did most of the pressing but had to wait until the very end for their reward.
Chamorro gave La Serena the lead in the 66th minute, finishing off a move involving Bruno Gutiérrez. Coquimbo responded with sustained pressure and finally levelled when Rodríguez converted in the 90th minute. Manuel Fernández and Sebastián Díaz were both sent off as the game ended.
The stats underline Coquimbo's dominance: 60% possession, 12 shots to six and 12 corners to none, yet they only managed one more shot on target than their opponents (5-1). La Serena's solitary effort on target was the goal, and they survived until the final minute.
