Coppejans broke Galán in the very first game of the match and again at 2-5 in the opening set to seal it 6-2. The second set followed the same pattern: early breaks at 0-1 and 0-3, with a final break at 1-6 wrapping up the contest. Galán saved six of nine break points but could not hold serve when it mattered most.
