VHK ROBE Vsetín opened the Club Friendly Games with a 2-1 regulation win over Comarch Cracovia, banking the victory on a fast start that the visitors could never fully erase. The home side controlled the first period, scoring twice before the 17-minute mark to build a lead that proved decisive.
Vsetín struck at 4:00 and 17:00 to seize a 2-0 edge, but Cracovia answered early in the second period at 32:00 to cut the deficit to one. Neither team found the net in the third, and Vsetín's early burst held up as the game's defining stretch.
The standout number was the first-period margin: all of Vsetín's offense came in the opening frame, and it was enough to outlast a Cracovia side that pushed but could not level the score in regulation.
