Columbus Crew came from behind to beat FC Cincinnati 2-1 in MLS action. Kévin Denkey put the visitors ahead early, but two goals in four minutes before half-time turned the match around for the hosts.
Denkey struck in the 9th minute with Evander providing the assist. Jamal Thiaré levelled for Columbus in the 41st minute, set up by Dylan Chambost, and Dániel Gazdag put the Crew ahead just before the break in the 45th minute.
The stats show Columbus had the better of the chances, creating 2.29 expected goals to Cincinnati's 0.80, and had 53% possession. Late on, Gerardo Valenzuela was sent off for the visitors in the 90th minute.
