Collignon broke the opening game in each of the first two sets; Gorzny hit straight back in game two both times, yet the second break in game five of the opener put Collignon in control. Gorzny then added another break in game four of set two to level, and he led by a break in set three before Collignon hit back and broke again in game six. Gorzny needed only the break in game two to take the fourth, and after the pair traded breaks in games five and six of the decider, he won the tiebreak.
