Club Brugge beat KV Kortrijk 3-0 in First Division A, taking the lead before half-time and finishing strongly. The home side controlled the game throughout, with most of the ball and far more chances.
Hugo Vetlesen put Club Brugge ahead in the 30th minute. Carlos Borges doubled the lead in the 68th, assisted by Mamadou Diakhon, and Nicolò Tresoldi made it 3-0 six minutes later. James Willy Ndjeungoue and Freddie Potts were both booked before that late burst.
Club Brugge dominated the stats, finishing with 74% possession, 20 shots and eight on target, and creating five big chances. KV Kortrijk managed nine shots and three on target, with their goalkeeper making five saves to keep the score respectable.
