LNZ Cherkasy beat Chornomorets Odesa 2-0 in the Premier League, taking the lead just before half-time and adding a second early in the second half. The home side controlled the game from the front and never looked likely to let their advantage slip.
Danilo Kravchuk opened the scoring in the 41st minute to make it 1-0. Kravchuk then turned provider after the break, setting up Talles Brener for the second in the 55th minute, and Chornomorets, who had Hennadii Pasich booked in the 27th minute, could not find a way back into the match.
The standout performance came from Kravchuk, who scored one goal and assisted the other. LNZ Cherkasy defended their lead well to keep a clean sheet and take all three points.
