Joveljić put Seattle ahead in the 12th minute from Sebastian Gomez's assist. Maren Haile-Selassie levelled for Chicago in the 38th, assisted by Lewandowski, and Joveljić struck again three minutes after the interval, with Albert Rusnák providing the pass. Lewandowski equalised again in the 82nd minute, assisted by Puso Dithejane, and Snyder Brunell was shown a yellow card in the 51st minute.
Chicago dominated the statistics, with 56% possession, 20 shots to Seattle's 11 and an expected-goals advantage of 1.72 to 0.81. Seattle's goalkeeper made nine saves to keep the draw intact. Joveljić's brace was the home side's standout contribution, while Lewandowski finished with a goal and an assist.
