Rotherham United snatched a dramatic 2-1 win over Chesterfield in League Two, with Paul Mullin scoring the decisive goal in the 90th minute. Fabio Tavares had put the Millers ahead early, only for Liam Mandeville to level with two minutes left, before Mullin struck immediately to seal the points.
Tavares opened the scoring in the 12th minute from Ewan Otoo's assist. The game appeared to be heading for a draw when Mandeville equalised in the 88th minute, but Mullin responded within two minutes to restore Rotherham's lead and claim the victory.
Chesterfield dominated possession with 68% of the ball and completed 508 passes to Rotherham's 180, yet the Millers had the better chances, registering 13 shots to seven and creating five big chances to two. Rotherham's greater efficiency in front of goal proved decisive.
