Chertanovo Moscow beat KDV Tomsk 4-2 in the Russian Cup. The visitors took full control inside the opening half-hour, moving 3-0 ahead before KDV Tomsk had a say. The home side never recovered from that early burst.
Ramil Gaynullin opened the scoring after eight minutes and Mikhail Grachev doubled the lead on 13. Gaynullin’s second made it 0-3 after 37 minutes. Daniil Kondrakov pulled one back for Tomsk on 54, but Matvey Melnikov restored the three-goal cushion on 60, and Kondrakov’s second on 63 was only a consolation.
Gaynullin’s brace set Chertanovo on their way, and their early finishing proved decisive. KDV Tomsk fought back through a Kondrakov brace, yet Chertanovo’s three-goal cushion from the opening 37 minutes proved enough.
