Yunnan Yukun edged Chengdu Rongcheng 1-0 in the CFA Super League, with the only goal arriving just after the restart. Oscar Taty Maritu struck in the 48th minute, from an Alexandru Ioniță assist, to give the home side the win.
Chengdu struggled to test the Yunnan goalkeeper, mustering just one shot on target across the match. Wellington Silva was booked in the 78th minute as Yunnan saw the game out.
Yunnan shaded possession with 52% and had the clearer chances, finishing with 18 shots to Chengdu's 12 and four on target to one. They also created four big chances, though four were missed, so the margin stayed narrow.
