Chattanooga FC put on a clinical display to beat Philadelphia Union II 4-0 at home. Despite having less possession, they made their chances count, scoring inside the first 15 minutes and adding three more to secure a comfortable victory.
Ameziane Sid Mohand opened the scoring in the 12th minute from Eldin Jakupović's assist. Nathan Koehler doubled the lead just before half-time, heading home from Tate Robertson's delivery. Within two minutes of the restart, Damien Barker John made it 3-0 after Daniel Mangarov set him up, and Mangarov himself got on the scoresheet in the 75th minute, finishing from Alex Krehl's pass.
Chattanooga were out-possessed 45% to 55% but generated 14 shots to Philadelphia's 13 and an expected goals figure of 2.58 against 0.89. Goalkeeper made six saves to preserve the clean sheet, while Philadelphia, who had five bookings, missed two big chances and were caught offside seven times.
