Ceramica Cleopatra won 3-1 at Al-Ittihad Alexandria in the Premier League, taking control with a goal just before half-time and two more after the break. The home side pulled one back midway through the second half, but Ceramica responded within two minutes to seal the points.
Ahmed Belhadji put Ceramica ahead in the 45th minute, and Marwan Osman doubled the lead on 64 minutes with Mohamed Reda providing the assist. Hossam Hassan scored for Al-Ittihad on 77 minutes, assisted by Nour Alaa, but Nejc Gradisar restored the two-goal advantage in the 79th minute from Ahmed Ramadan's assist. Hema Mohamed, Isaac Saviour and Mido Mostafa were all shown yellow cards.
Ceramica dominated possession with 62% and had 14 shots to Al-Ittihad's 10, seven of them on target. Al-Ittihad managed four on-target efforts and scored one of their big chances, but Ceramica's expected goals of 1.14 compared with 0.74 showed who created the better openings. The visitors also made 406 accurate passes to 221.
