CD Castellón left it late but secured a 2-1 win at Celta Vigo B in LaLiga 2. Francisco Castillo's ninth-minute strike and Pablo Santiago's goal just after the restart put the visitors in control.
Castillo opened the scoring in the 9th minute and then turned provider for Santiago, who doubled the lead in the 48th. Óscar Marcos pulled one back for Celta Vigo B in the 79th from Hugo Cuenca's assist, but Castellón held on through a tense finish.
Castellón edged possession with 54% and shaded the shot count 13-12, with five shots on target to Celta's four. They created five big chances to Celta's one, though they missed three of them. The early goals and stronger control proved decisive.
