Botafogo-PB came from behind to beat Caxias 2-1 in a tense Brasileiro Série C encounter. The visitors had to recover from a first‑half deficit but struck twice in four second‑half minutes to turn the game around.
Caxias took the lead through Breno Santos in the 41st minute, and held that advantage until the 76th minute when Ianson equalised for Botafogo-PB. The momentum shifted decisively four minutes later as Rodolfo fired home to make it 2-1.
Despite having no clear statistical dominance, Botafogo-PB’s quick double salvo after the break proved decisive. Caxias will rue their failure to hold onto a lead that had lasted for 35 minutes.
