Pussetto scored in the third minute to give Huracán a fast start. Hesar equalised in the 18th minute, and that proved to be the turning point, as neither side could find a decisive goal despite sustained pressure from the hosts.
Huracán had 65% possession and 18 shots to Estudiantes' five, with an expected goals figure of 1.58 to 0.95. Yet they needed two shots on target for their single goal, while the visitors scored with their only effort on target, and their goalkeeper made one save to help secure the draw.
