FC Nordsjælland beat Brøndby IF 3-1 in the Superliga, taking the lead inside 12 minutes and doubling it before the half-hour mark. Brøndby had more of the ball, but Nordsjælland's early control proved decisive.
Alexander Lind opened the scoring from Juho Lähteenmäki's assist in the 12th minute, and Justin Janssen made it 2-0 in the 22nd, with Runar Robinsonn Norheim providing the pass. Hjalte Rasmussen added a third in the 83rd minute from Mark Brink's assist, and Patrick Mortensen scored a late consolation for Brøndby in the 90th minute, assisted by Bartosz Slisz.
Nordsjælland were the more clinical side throughout, putting nine of their 15 shots on target and posting an expected-goals total of 3.21. Brøndby's 16 shots yielded only four on target, and their 60% possession and 543 accurate passes brought little reward.
