Bustamante scored in the tenth minute, converting Cristian Alvarez's assist to put the home side ahead. Boyacá pushed for an equaliser but were kept out by the Jaguares goalkeeper, who made three saves. The game was scrappy, with ten players booked across the 90 minutes.

But Jaguares were clinical, scoring their only big chance and registering six shots on target to Boyacá's three, while the visiting keeper had to make five saves.
