Red Bull Salzburg beat Bílí Tygři Liberec 3-0 in regulation in the Champions Hockey League, riding an early goal and two late strikes to a clean sheet. Salzburg controlled the key stretches and never trailed in the game.
Mario Huber opened the scoring at 7:00 with an assist from Luca Auer, making it 1-0 after the first period. The second period was scoreless before Adam Brooks doubled the lead at 57:00 off a Huber feed, and Salzburg added a third goal at 59:00 to close out the win.
Huber finished with a goal and an assist, playing a part in two of the three goals. The defense kept Liberec off the board across all three periods to secure the regulation shutout.
