Kahibah FC took control early and never looked back, winning 3-1 against Belmont Swansea United FC in NPL Northern New South Wales. Two quick goals before half-time set the tone, and despite a swift reply from the visitors, Kahibah restored their two-goal cushion in the second half.
The home side struck first in the 9th minute to lead 1-0, then doubled their advantage in the 37th minute. Belmont Swansea United pulled one back just two minutes later in the 39th, making it 2-1 at the break. Kahibah sealed the victory with a third goal in the 63rd minute.
The shot count told the story: Kahibah put seven shots on target to Belmont’s one, while winning seven corners to five. Despite a scrappy match with 21 fouls combined, Kahibah’s sharper finishing earned them the three points.
