Bejlek came from behind to beat Alexandrova 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 at Cincinnati. The decisive shift came on return: Bejlek converted five break points across the match, while Alexandrova managed only two.
Alexandrova edged a tight opener, breaking at 4-5 after Bejlek had levelled at 4-4. Bejlek then took control, breaking at 3-1 and 5-1 to win the second set 6-1, and again at 2-1 and 4-1 in the decider to close out 6-2.
The service stats underlined her turnaround: Bejlek won 68% of first-serve points and saved four of six break points she faced, while striking five aces to Alexandrova's one. She finished with 88 points to 71.
