Beijing Guoan beat Zhejiang 2-1 in the CFA Super League, with Xizhe Zhang's 82nd-minute winner settling the contest. Fabio Abreu had given the home side an early lead, but Zhejiang hit back quickly through Cheng Jin.
Abreu scored after eight minutes to make it 1-0. Cheng Jin equalised for Zhejiang in the 12th minute, assisted by Wang Yudong, and the score stayed level until Zhang struck eight minutes from time, Serginho providing the assist. Tze-Nam Yue, Marko Tolić and Feifan Jia were all booked.
Guoan dominated the match statistically, holding 64% possession and registering 21 shots to Zhejiang's eight, yet they needed a late goal to win. Both of Guoan's goals came from their only two shots on target, while Zhejiang had three on target but scored once.
