FC Bayern München beat VfB Stuttgart 5-1 in the Bundesliga, recovering from a second-half equaliser to run away with the game. Dayot Upamecano's early opener was cancelled out by Josha Vagnoman, but Bayern then struck three times in quick succession to take full control.
Upamecano put Bayern ahead on 21 minutes from Joshua Kimmich's delivery. Vagnoman levelled for Stuttgart on 52, but Michael Olise restored the lead three minutes later and Vagnoman turned into his own net on 57 to make it 3-1. Aleksandar Pavlovic added a fourth on 82 and Luis Díaz completed the scoring in the 90th minute.
Bayern dominated the stats, holding 59% possession and registering 21 shots to Stuttgart's 11, with an expected-goals figure of 3.93 to 0.86. Stuttgart's goalkeeper made five saves to limit the damage, but the hosts were clinical, converting four of their six big chances.
