Arezzo came from behind to win 2-1 at Avellino in Serie B. Pietro Cianci cancelled out Avellino's early lead, and Artur Ioniță sealed the points with the decisive goal in the 90th minute.
Raffaele Russo put Avellino ahead in the 15th minute, finishing from Martin Palumbo's assist. Cianci equalised for Arezzo in the 56th minute, and Ioniță completed the turnaround in the 90th minute, with Samuele Righetti providing the assist.
The numbers show a side that had less of the ball but used it more effectively. Avellino held 60% possession and completed 476 passes to Arezzo's 285, yet Arezzo mustered 16 shots to Avellino's 10 and posted a higher expected-goals figure of 1.51 against 0.61. Arezzo scored from both of their big chances, while Avellino missed all three of theirs.
