Atlético de San Luis were held to a 1-1 draw by Pachuca in the Primera Division Apertura. San Luis dominated possession and chances, but needed Luis Nájera's 83rd-minute goal to break the deadlock. Pachuca replied through Carlos Moreno in the 90th minute to snatch a point, while Eduardo Bauermann was shown a red card in the 33rd minute.
Luis Nájera put San Luis ahead in the 83rd minute, finishing after an assist from Felipe Mora. With the game deep into its final minute, Carlos Moreno levelled for Pachuca, converting Javier Vallejo's assist and changing the outcome at the last moment.
The stats showed San Luis with 69% possession, 17 shots to Pachuca's 10, and an expected-goals advantage of 2.16 to 0.66. Despite that dominance, San Luis could not turn it into more than one goal, while Pachuca's goalkeeper made five saves and the visitors took one of their two chances on target.
